Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager Coast Region the Administrator shall facilitate daily operations of the branch in all the divisions and have total accountability for the branch ensuring that the business runs effectively and efficiently.
Effective Management of the financial performance
â— Drive revenue growth by identifying and exploiting new business opportunities in the area’ssphere of operations
â— Ensure Organic growth within existing clients and through price increases.
â— Demonstrate a good understanding of the competitor environment faced in the area.
â— Gross Margin Management
â— Implement cost saving measures
â— Ensure labour efficiency controls i.e optimal establishment,overtime and non productive hours control, correct billing by confirming the accuracy of the A-Register.
â— Ensure Overhead controls according to set targets.
â— Achieve existing revenue growth
Efficient and effective operational management
â— Coordinate the provision of contractual and ad hoc security services to ensure that they are executed profitably and in compliance to standardized business practices.
â— Ensure that resources within the area are optimally deployed.
â— Locate areas of improvement in the operations, eliminate waste and propose corrective actions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities.
â— Reduce/ Eliminate incidents and customer claims by carrying out pre-deployment and continuous risk assessments
â— Ensure that frontline staff are properly equipped to handle assignments for example PPEs, SOPs, training, resources etc
Effective people Management
â— Maintain excellent employee motivation , performance management and regular engagement.
â— Ensure that no staff incidents occur such as strikes, work stoppages, industrial action.
â— Resolve disputes or disagreements promptly
â— Proper allocation of staffs to positions to fulfill contract requirements within the area
â— Ensure appropriate level of employee training and development
â— Ensure proper communication
â— Adhere to G4S rules, regulations and procedures
Ensure maintenance of customer service levels
â— Make regular liaison and scheduled meetings with customers.
â— Address customers requests and complaints promptly
â— Reduce/ Eliminate incidents and customer claims by carrying out pre deployment and continuous risk assessments
â— Ensure that all assignments in the branch have post instructions and emergency procedures
â— Properly investigate incidents and recommend preventive measures
â— Ensure that assignments in the area are properly supervised
â— Ensure that the staffs deployed within the branch are properly trained and equipped to undertake assignments
Ensure Health and safety at work
â— Hold regular Health and Safety meetings.
â— Ensure that safety performance measurement and review is conducted in detail at Branch level.
â— Ensure that a positive safety culture is fostered and developed in their branches.
â— Ensure that all accidents, incidents and near misses are reported and investigated.
â— Ensure compliance to the G4S Golden rules and safety standards
Knowledge and Qualifications
â— Diploma in Business Management or related Field
â— Work experience through internal growth and training.
