Main Purpose of Position
The successful incumbent will be responsible for managing and coordinating stock, ensuring optimal stock levels and overseeing the supply chain procedures, including conducting audits and maintaining accurate records.
Key Performance Areas
1. Inventory Management & Processing
Process stock issuances, transfers to Production, and transfers to Operations (OPS) accurately within Pastel Evolution.
Manage and process Bills of Materials (BOMs) for device builds.
Oversee consumable requirements and ensure continuous stock availability.
Execute all hands-on stock handling duties: ordering, receiving, documentation matching, packing, loading/offloading, picking, issuing, and system capturing.
Maintain complete accuracy and efficiency when capturing data within the inventory management system.
2. Stakeholder Collaboration & Reporting
Liaise effectively across internal departments, including Procurement, Production, Inception, Dispatch, OPS, Finance, and International teams.
Monitor and report daily "Out of Stock" metrics on the operational dashboard.
Lead and manage monthly physical stocktakes.
Provide continuous feedback regarding production requirements, bottlenecks, or stock issues.
Assist with both internal and external audits.
3. Quality Assurance, Compliance & Process Improvement
Ensure strict adherence to ISO standards and internal company policies and procedures.
Ensure full compliance with all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislative requirements.
Review standard operating procedures (SOPs) regularly, identify areas for improvement, and lead the initiation, coordination, and enforcement of optimized operational practices.
4. Team & Operational Support
Assist the broader operational team with ad hoc duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
Education: Diploma or relevant certificate in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field (strongly preferred).
Experience: 3–5 years of proven experience in a similar stock control or inventory management role.
Software Proficiency: Mandatory experience with Pastel Evolution and general computer literacy (MS Office).
