Job Description.
Role: Uniformed Security Specialist (Equivalent to Senior Security Officer).
Working Hours: 48 hours/week
Payroll: Third party (Security Guarding Company)
• Conduct routine patrols within the assigned area to ensure a secure environment and proactively identify potential risks.
• Manage access points, verify credentials of employees and visitors, and monitor for unauthorized access.
• Support emergency evacuation drills and respond effectively to fire alarms, medical emergencies, or other crises.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of all security-related incidents and actions taken through resolver tools.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and local regulations.
• Provide a friendly and professional conduct while assisting employees and guests, maintaining a balance between approachability and authority.
• Attend quarterly safety & security training.
• Stay updated on the use of security technologies and software systems employed within the organization.
Qualifications-
• Minimum High School or equivalent (bachelor’s degree in criminology, Security Management, or related field is preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in security operations or a similar role.
• Freshers with relevant certifications and strong motivation are also welcome. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Problem-solving and quick decision-making skills.
• Physically fit and capable of standing for extended periods and responding to emergencies. • Proficiency in using incident management platforms (e.g., Resolver, Everbridge, or similar tools).
• Ability to operate Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and reporting purposes.
• Knowledge of emergency protocols, including fire alarms, evacuation procedures, and medical emergency handling.
