Role: Uniformed Senior Security Specialist (Equivalent to Assignment Manager).
Working Hours: 48 hours/week
Payroll: Third party (Security Guarding Company)
• Supervise and manage the assigned shift, ensuring smooth security operations and adherence to protocols.
• Provide leadership and guidance to Security Specialists during routine duties and emergencies.
• Lead the first response to security and safety incidents, ensuring swift and effective action.
• Report critical incidents to the Site Security Manager and coordinate follow-up actions.
• Verify and review incident reports prepared by Security Specialists for accuracy and completeness.
• Attend to visitors and customers, addressing any security-related queries professionally.
• Ensure security and safety protocols are enforced for all employees, contractors, and guests.
• Serve as the point of contact for statutory authorities and media personnel during unplanned visits.
• Conduct regular preventive checks, including penetration testing, to identify vulnerabilities in security systems.
• Coordinate with the India RSOC (Regional Security Operations Center) for advanced threat management and incident resolution.
• Attend quarterly safety and security training sessions to stay updated on best practices and industry standards.
• Mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and vigilance.
• Oversee emergency drills and ensure all personnel are familiar with evacuation and crisis management protocols.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree / Equivalent
• 5+ years of relevant experience in security operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for incident reporting and stakeholder management.
• Analytical mindset to evaluate threats and implement preventive measures.
• Physically fit and capable of standing for extended periods and responding to emergencies.
• Proficiency in using incident management platforms (e.g., Resolver, Everbridge, or similar tools).
• Ability to operate Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and reporting purposes.
• Knowledge of emergency protocols, including fire alarms, evacuation procedures, and medical emergency handling.
