G4S Secure Solutions (SA), a leading provider of integrated security management solutions, has a vacancy for a Junior Technician based at our operations in Rustenburg reporting to the Regional Technical Manager.
The successful incumbent is a self-starter with a proven track record in maintaining company policy, adopting best practices, and is able to exercise sound judgement in the pursuit of the achievement of the goals of the organisation, and understanding the role which the Junior Technician plays within a successful business unit. The incumbent will be expected to be results driven and to live the values of the organisation.

Main Responsibilities
Effective administration of the technology contract to ensure sound financial performance
Conform and adhere to the profitability of contracts with a key focus on Job cards
Contract Margin Management
● Billable hours
● Job Cards
Coordinate and complete administration for the contract and invoice documentation and ensure accuracy of information
Effective management of operations
Complete daily tasks with close monitoring of standards and hours.
● Client retention and customer service levels
● Maintenance of positive customer relationships
Quality Management/Ops Process management – adherence to quality and standards
Effective management of business development functions
New business development
● Identifying new business opportunities in the region’s sphere of operations, as well as in terms of growth of business with existing customers.
Health & Safety
Qualification and Experience
Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
A valid Driver´s Licence
● PSIRA Certification – Grade C
● Electronic Security Training (On job training)
● Basic experience with regards to wiring and installation following systems:
I.CCTV
II.Access Control
III.Intruder Detection
IV.Perimeter Protection
