Job Introduction:

The Project Manager is responsible for managing security operations at client sites within the energy and resources sector, ensuring the protection of personnel, assets, and critical infrastructure. This role involves strategic planning, team supervision, client management, compliance oversight, and risk mitigation. The on-site Project Manager plays a crucial role in maintaining high-security standards and operational efficiency while adhering to industry regulations and company policies.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement security strategies to protect assets, personnel, and operations.
  • Establish security policies and ensure compliance with industry and government regulations.
  • Lead and supervise a security team of 100+ personnel on-site.
  • Assign duties, optimize workforce distribution, and conduct regular training sessions.
  • Conduct routine patrols and inspections to ensure compliance with security protocols.
  • Identify and mitigate potential security risks in the mining area.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE compliances applicable to the mining area.
  • Investigate security incidents and prepare comprehensive reports.
  • Collaborate with mine management, law enforcement, and local authorities for enhanced security.
  • Maintain good relations with local communities to prevent conflicts.
  • Physical & Technological Security
  • Oversee security systems such as CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
  • Ensure all security equipment is well-maintained and operational.
  • Emergency & Crisis Management
  • Develop and execute emergency response plans for incidents like theft, sabotage, or operational disruptions.
  • Lead crisis response efforts to safeguard personnel and assets.
  • Provide regular security reports to management.
  • Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements in the mining industry.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum education: High school/vocational school/equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Project Manager Security
  • Capable of leading and managing a security team effectively
  • Proficient in computer operations, especially for creating routine reports and documentation
  • Possess at least a Gada Utama, Investigation, and Pengawas Operasional Pertama certification
  • Proficient in English communication, both written and spoken
  • Strong communication skills for coordination with the team and relevant parties
  • Ability to analyze security situations and make quick and accurate decisions
  • Able to work under pressure while maintaining high operational standards
  • Willing to work with roster schedule (back to back)
